snagged in outlet 3 Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Earliest reference I could find on here.
fishinwrench Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 So I'm 4 years behind Ness, that's not so bad. I'm sure I have added to his vocabulary a time or two. 😂
ness Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 @rps gets the credit for introducing me to spatchcocking. The ness household will be having a bunch of old favorites. Not breaking any new ground. That's the best way to feed the crowd that’s coming. Roast turkey and gravy (offal free😁) from my baby brother. Mashed taters with plenty of butter and sour cream. Cornbread dressing (Jiffy based). Corn casserole, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole. Simple homemade cranberry sauce. Dinner rolls (the frozen thaw and rise kind). Pumpkin pie and whipped cream. And whatever other appetizers and desserts get brought over. Have a happy Thanksgiving everyone! BilletHead and Gavin 2 John
Mitch f Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Dry brine for me this year. I’m hearing it makes the skin crunchier and has a more concentrated flavor. Kind of like Espresso vs coffee. snagged in outlet 3 and Gavin 2 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
fishinwrench Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 I just got introduced to salted caramel Crown 👑 this year too. Yummy! snagged in outlet 3 1
Johnsfolly Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 I'm in charge of the turkey and will spatchcock it again this year. This is the third year cooking it this way. Love the even cooking of the breast and thighs. Thanks RPS! Standard fare the rest if the way. Green bean casserole and homemade cranberry sauce from my wife. Also one homemade pumpkin pie that we roasted and cleaned the pumpkin not can pumpkin. Gavin, ness and Mitch f 3

What's wrong with canned pumpkin? These women piss me off with their baked beans too ! They need to get over theirselves and just admit that NOBODY makes better baked beans than Bush's !! Just open the can, toss in some extra bacon or whatever, and heat it up. Done! Cole slaw? Forget all the BS! KFC does it best.....so don't even try ! snagged in outlet 3 and slothman 2
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Best baked beans ive had were the ones that are premade at Sams club. They have big chunks of meat and are excellent

Quit trying to trick it up with "real" ingredients. KFC gravy is the best too!!! King crab legs tomorrow with just the youngest and wife. Tonight...Coq au vin. And BTW. What's up the freak chickens? The little market has nice 2.75 - 3 pound chickens. Grocery store has one bone in skin on breast that weight 1.6 pounds. That chicken is bigger than @fishinwrench dog! ness 1
