And I watch Fox News but certainly do not hold it as gospel. 90% of todays media is controlled by five major corporations and Fox is no exception. They are, however, the only major news outlet that is not anti Trump all day every day. Fair and honest journalism is dead. For the record I threw Fox out there but it could be any of them. Yeah they don’t bash a Republican every day and never will. Fair and honest journalism was never alive. But it is getting worse. Just like you haven’t been indoctrinated by Fox not every kid is indoctrinated in school. If you don’t like what yours have become then some of that blame is your own. Not some person that they spent a very short amount of time with. Heck I feel bad for those of you that think your kid will become some total idiot after a few hours with a professor. I know the college students I have produced don’t have time for that.

I think the Catholic Church once said “give us your child until 12 years old and they’ll be ours forever”. I’m paraphrasing a bit on that possibly. It’s always easy to blame parents, but with all the constant BS from the MSM and social media it’s very hard to keep control of every aspect of their life. I know of several kids who were raised the correct way and went to college and flipped out. Maybe it was just their maturity level at the time, maybe it was their defiant stage, who knows. But professors have a major influence on young minds. It’s just very sad nowadays that you have to teach your kids not to trust any adult anymore. vernon 1 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

Regardless of whether you think he’s the son of God, do you believe a man named Jesus ever walked the face of the earth? 2. Would you be happy Or sad if it would be proven someday that there was indeed a Judeo Christian God? snagged in outlet 3 1 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

It would be comforting to know that someone can be in control. But if the words of the bible in reference to him are true, I don't believe I would worship him like he allegedly wants me to. When I look around, it becomes obvious to me that God is either powerless, or does not exist, ......or DOES exist but doesn't give a $#!t. vernon and gotmuddy 1 1

Read the case for Christ or the case for Easter. Not trying to convert you or anything I think you would enjoy them. I think most people would. Not read the book myself, but listened to it being read. I have done a ton of religious study (actually trying to convince myself) because I honestly do (or did) want to believe. Finally I came to the realization that if God wanted me to believe then he would know how to convince me. Maybe he will someday. Until then I'm a lowly skeptic. I don't believe in Satin either, so please don't say that he is the one preventing me from being a Christian. 🙄 If blind Faith is required then explain to me how Satin allegedly rebels against God. Satin would know for a fact about God and his power....no "faith" required..... yet he is free to go against God. Makes no sense. If Satin knows (has been shown) and still has a choice....then why do WE have to believe with no proof whatsoever in order to enter the kingdom of heaven ? I'm a good dude, live by the 10 as much as anyone else, if I'm not good enough because I can't believe something on the poorest of evidence, then so be it. His choices and decisions, given the power he is supposed to have, are far more deplorable than mine. So no, I'm sorry, I'm not capable of genuine worship. I could certainly fake it....but I don't play that way. snagged in outlet 3, Daryk Campbell Sr and vernon 3
fishinwrench Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 To a Christian, an atheist is just a person who believes in one less "God" than the Christian does. The Christian is an atheist when it comes to Thor, Allah, and Hannamann (the monkey God), and many others.....which they would probably believe in dependant on where they were born and how they were raised.

Where it gets troubling, in my opinion, is when it veers off into criticism of people who do believe. And that's all I've got to say about that. MOPanfisher and Mitch f 2 John
