Crows are amazingly smart birds.  I collect crow art and have a crow tattoo on my left arm.  I guess you could fairly say I'm a fan.

There's a bunch of those black headed buzzards hanging out below Bagnell dam that pick at the rubber on vehicles (windshield wipers, exposed door seals, trim)  and the last time I was at Bennett I noticed a group of them there too, hanging around the parking lot by the hatchery.  

They need to open season on those peckerwoods and somebody needs to figure out a good recipe for them. 😊

Like many things, Crows and ground hogs aren't bad eating.  Have eaten them both.  Not enough so to me to go out on any given day to go get some for supper.  However like Bill I have to eat a fair bit of crow at work and around home.

Crows have a rich tradition in Native American and American folklore.  You should watch on of the Nature series on Crows and how they can communicate information to each other.
