Good morning Phil I'm watching Radar now. I thought we was going to get hit hard today at 9AM but so far it is looking like it is going North of us but got some weather headed towards you from Oklahoma . Storms seem to bottle up right there in the corner of Oklahoma, I'm thinking because of the hills.

Seen where our Son is opening up again but still working around this Coronavirus.

My Edward Jones guy says we haven’t seen the bottom yet.

I don't see how we could have.

It is here in Bella Vista, sky is really dark, rain just starting to fall, lightning and thunder.

We just had a heck of a blow here. Neighbors Bradford Pear snapped about 8 feet up the trunk. Now it's laying partly in my side yard. Lot's of pea sized hail too. After things calmed down I checked the garden and it made it through ok somehow. More on the way for us though.

Do you do this to antagonize me???😂

Try the MyRadar app.  It's a great tool for straight radar and no adds.

Yeah -- MyRadar is a good app -- I've got it too.

My mom had three of those Bradford pears in her yard, storm came through and took them all out.  They are a nice looking tree, but they don't last too many years before they get fragile.  I'll never plant one myself.

No damage here today, some heavy rain and a bit of hail and now it is sunny and windy.  Weatherman says we have another round coming this evening.

When the neighborhood was developed about 20 years ago the developer put a Bradford Pear in every front yard as part of the lot price. At the time most of us thought it was a good look and liked the idea. I even bought a second one for the other side of the driveway. Wouldn't do that again. I'd estimate there are about ⅔ of them left and practically none of them aren't without some kind of damage. I lost about ⅓ of one a couple years ago and had it cut down and the stump dug. Fought suckers for about a year. The other one survives so far. Won't be sad when it goes. They're nice looking for a few days in early spring, the rest of the time they're a pain with suckers and fruit. There are undeveloped areas around here where they are very thick.
