They tried to force a series of shots into puberty aged females several years ago, the information was sketchy and I said No. They threatened not allowing them in school without it.....but enough people, statewide I guess, balked and they dropped it. Without the polio vaccine a lot of us either wouldn't here or would be severely crippled. But maybe the medical community was honest back then.... BilletHead 1

I had a bad case two years ago. Still have after effects. Get the shots. The new ones are very effective. You don't want shingles. BilletHead 1

Guido Hibdon had some leg issues that a doctor blamed on polio..... because back then that was one of the things doctors blamed things they couldn't cure on. Was it really polio? Probably not, but who can prove them wrong? Once one doctor says it, then that's the lifelong prognosis. 🙄

Know another guy still living with it. Very sad but he did the best he could. Two part shingles vaccine for us last summer! tho1mas Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 My 1st shingles shot really got my attention for about a week. The second one was no problem but I had to bite my lip to get it. snagged in outlet 3 1

ness Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 Doc mentioned shingles shot a while back, but I kinda thought I'd wait a while because I don't like to be an early adopter. I think I'm gonna put the shingles shot on my to-do list. I had shingles in 2009 and don't want it again. John
