Until it comes time to actually do it, at which point the enthusiasm to do so just vanishes ? Because whatever that disease is, I've got it. Is there any known cure? trythisonemv 1
Flysmallie Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 I don't lose the enthusiasm to do it, it just doesn't happen. The first time was flooding. Usually it's time. This year time can suck it. I'm going. Unless it floods again. I just need to pick my best guess on a date and let it happen.
fishinwrench Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 LMAO ๐ I always set at the dinner table late every evening and plot out all these highly productive things that I'm going to do tomorrow......Then tomorrow comes and I'm like..... Expand Oh I've caught plenty...Just never when driving 4 hours each way for the "RUN". I caught a bunch at LOZ while chucking a white rooster tail on a party boat.

Good luck Expand I know the run depends on a lot of different factors but in my limited couple years of experience I've found that late March and almost the whole month of April seems to be better than early March. That being said, im planning my first trip for April 5th...obviously the first report I see in March Ill be out there ๐. I plan on hiking a fair stretch of the river (unless I find em right away) and hopefully find some spots open enough to backcast a flyrod but I will have my spinning gear as well. If anyone wants to join, shoot me a message. Always fun to try some different strategies and learn new tricks! Greasy B and snagged in outlet 3 2
