Dutch Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 I prefer to have them lightly steamed, but we grill them, bake them, and cut them up and use them in frittatas
rps Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Prep them (break or cut woody off and use a small knife to remove the big chewy side leaves at the low end). Heat a very small amount of EVOO in a non stick skillet. Add the asparagus and sear them quickly. At the end add the best Worcestershire sauce in the world. https://colonelpabst.com/ Mitch f 1
rps Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 They are also great with the saffron aoli I posted about a few days ago. Johnsfolly and Mitch f 2

Gavin Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 Usually just steam it in a ridged bottom Ceramic casserole type pan with some fresh lemon. Maybe 1/4” of water in the pan. Add glass lid. Water turns pink it’s done. Or steam, shock in an ice bath, then dry. Wrap with cream cheese and prosciutto, serve as a cold appetizer. Mitch f, MOPanfisher and Terrierman 2 1
