I can't count the number of times people have told me about being hot at a ramp parking lot or having some small item taken. I have had trailers disconnected, nothing taken just in hitched or the latch opened.  Second nature to check it now.

I have a receiver and latch lock.

I have one that I can lock but generally don't unless I am somewhere remote.

I really don't see much unusual there.  In 20 plus years my truck, trailer or both has been run into 8 times at ramp parking lots and never once has anyone left me a note.

Do you guys think any one ramp is safer than the others (i.e. having your rig hit or otherwise damaged or something stolen or truck broken into)?  Particularly interested in your views on Mill Creek (KC), Aunts Creek, and Cape Fair.  Also do you think Port of Kimberling might we safer and what the annual fee and/or daily ramp use fee is?

Thanks

Bobby
