JamiePatterson Posted May 28, 2020 Posted May 28, 2020 Well boys, got tired of scraping the fiberglass off river boats, so I came up with something new. 2072 aluminum jet tunnel with 1/2” airboat polymer bolted to the bottom. 150/105 Etec jet on a tiller. Bring on all the funny looks, but the White just got WAY smaller lol. I figure I’ll run it typical river Jon speeds while I’m around others. When we are in open water I don’t feel bad about opening her up though. Put in at ranchettes today and found dingy water, so we ran to Norfork and caught fish all day. I was grinning ear to ear 😊 Greasy B, Gavin, Johnsfolly and 6 others 9
JamiePatterson Posted May 28, 2020 Author Posted May 28, 2020 Started out with this. It was supposed to be a summer project, but it kept raining -to wet for me to farm. Ham and Gavin 2
Terrierman Posted May 28, 2020 Posted May 28, 2020 Those guys running rocky rivers back east nearly all put the slick stuff on the bottoms of what they are running. Very nice.
JamiePatterson Posted May 28, 2020 Author Posted May 28, 2020 It’s a pain in the you-know-what... Gavin, Ham and Terrierman 3

JamiePatterson Posted May 29, 2020 Author Posted May 29, 2020 Yeah, I get an idea and have to build it lol. It’s a problem... 30lbs of welding wire in this thing!!! Bushbeater, Terrierman, Gavin and 2 others 4 1
JamiePatterson Posted May 29, 2020 Author Posted May 29, 2020 It goes scary shallow. Like, ankle deep. Not sure how many inches to actually float it. 6-7? It takes more water to cover the trolling motor prop than float the boat lol!!! 😂😂😂. snagged in outlet 3, Ham and Gavin 3
JamiePatterson Posted May 29, 2020 Author Posted May 29, 2020 I do need to tweak it a little bit -it’ll cavitate running up the shoals in the Norfork catch and release. 😩
