Quillback
Ham made the trip over here today, we fished Windsor lake today for Bream. Great day of fishing, we had some slow spells every once in a while, but pretty much found fish all day long. Drop shot with red worms, fish were fairly shallow, maybe from about 3 feet deep out to 6 or so. I estimate we caught 75-80, I kept half a dozen and the rest were released. A lot of 7-8 inch fish, with a few bigger and Ham got big fish honors with a 13" Redear, biggest redear I have seen come out of one of these lakes. snagged in outlet 3
That’s a beauty! I need to start doing that again. I used to do it all the time when the kids were little and as they grew older and went off to school I just stopped. Thx!!! Johnsfolly
@Quillback as much as I want to give your post a like I can't condone the use of the term bream in the post🙄! I'm glad that you guys had a great time. That beast of a redear should keep @Ham smiling for a while. Congrats guys. Ham
I really appreciate the invite Jeff. Once again, we had a Really Good trip. Jeff knows his Bella Vista lakes pretty well and he’s definitely dialed in on the Big Panfish. We had some 9 inch Bluegill too. There were a few stinkin Bass in the mix. They were almost all post spawn skinny. I’m proud as a peacock about the RedEar. It was just a tank. It’s Not every that you get a Personal Best. I’ll likely have to fish Lake Havasu to get a Bigger one Daryk Campbell Sr, Quillback, snagged in outlet 3 and 1 other 4 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. Ham
Pictures don’t do it justice. We had been catching Jumbo Bluegill all morning and this thing dwarfed those.
