BilletHead Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 Well I have heard of such things but this was a first to see one. As we were getting off the lake at noon this big truck and long box trailer was pulling down. We wondered what was in the trailer. We watched as we organized gear for the ride home. The trailer back door opened and I said what the heck? Guy by himself took out a panel off the floor and lowered the engine. Opened the front door of the trailer and then turned around and backed the rig down the ramp to launch. WOW Do any of out OAF membership trailer your boat this way? fishinwrench Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 I know of a couple. One is a double decker that hauls 2 boats. You should have stuck around to watch him launch..... cuz if he didn't collapse those power poles before launching then he might have tore some stuff up.
jdmidwest Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 I always buy the stuff that does not matter getting roughed up a little. Don't have to priss around with aluminum boats like you do glass... fishinwrench Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 I'm actually surprised that more guys don't have them. Boat covers are a PIA, and if an enclosed air conditioned trailer is not too much for a stupid horse then it shouldn't be a rarity for a bass boat. Besides, look at all that extra real estate for sponsor bling! slothman 1

Mine has been pretty roughed up. Two logs jumped and beached once. Man it’s fun!😁 BilletHead 1
Dutch Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 I’ve never seen one of those, but I did see a motor home pulling a double decker trailer with a Ford suv on the bottom and a Lund on top. snagged in outlet 3 1
