Members Mr. Smallfish Posted September 9, 2020 Members Posted September 9, 2020 and what would you throw if you were fishing the next couple of days?
bferg Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 I'd start on main lake gravel run outs with the following on the deck: 1. Topwater of choice 2. Keitech swim bait 3. Spoon 4. Drop Shot gurzik and dan hufferd 2
cheesemaster Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 I am way too much of a one dimensional type of guy, so this might be a waste of your time reading this. I had (should of reported on here) a fairly decent day on Monday. I fished mainly the bluff end transitions, rock slides on bluffs and 45 degree channel bends with a black and gold buzz bait. Had 6 keeps with the biggest being in the 3 lb range. I didn’t fish any other lure because I had enough action to keep me satisfied. Fished from sun-up to 11:00 in the Cape Fair area. dan hufferd and Quillback 2
Bgctrading Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Friday through Monday fished everyday. 630-1030. Only did drop shot on gravel points had over 100 fish and about 35 keepers. Quillback, dan hufferd, merc1997 Bo and 2 others 5

Bgctrading Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 I love to drop shot for some reason with livescope. Had 2 small kids fishing with me and they really get a kick out of watching the fish swim over to their bait. magicwormman, Quillback, abkeenan and 1 other 4
Members gs63105a Posted September 10, 2020 Members Posted September 10, 2020 Drop shot or carolina rigs on gravel points. Depth was 20 feet end of August. We used red wigglers and caught bluegill, walleye and catfish. Caught bass as well but that was not our target. snagged in outlet 3 1

I caught a couple trout, on a dropshot, fishing stick-ups near eaglerock a couple years ago, there appeared to be half a dozen or so on the 2d sonar. I like the dropshot for crappie too.
