They work by stopping the large droplets the virus lives in when you cough or sneeze and preventing them from becoming airborne for others to breathe in. People wearing masks If they are asymptomatic and don’t know they have it are keeping others from getting the virus. . This video explains why they work. I get it, but you I thought you were talking about the death percentage of people who already had Covid. Which is what I posted about. Of course masks worn by both people will help prevent Covid. I think the death rate has gone down some because more 18-25 year olds (i.e. partying college kids) are getting it and they fair somewhat better than the older people that were initially getting it. Just more deadly, more easily transmitted, less well understood and there’s no vaccine. We’re pushing 200,000 deaths in the US. Of course CDC is padding the numbers, Fauchi is a fraud and our leadership has done a fine job while being totally mistreated by the press. Laughable @Quillback What can I do to get this thread quarantined? Trump Biden Pelosi Schumer McConnell??😄 Might want to read into it more. 200k deaths is only including people who have an AVERAGE of 2.6 high risk factors on top of catching Covid. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Mitch f Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Wear your mask, practice social distancing, wash your hands often, nothing else needs to be done. We are not to be controlled by a bunch of weasels. "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

This virus is killing off what is left of our greatest generation. War heroes and veterans and our parents and grandparents who were better than all of us. The fought to protect our freedoms, went without during times of war and depression, came together as a country during those times of adversity to ensure a better America. They should be greatly respected, but you write off those deaths as meaningless. Do you think that generation would have reacted the same as our current "leadership"??? BTW, over 50% of the USA is suffering from at least 1 high risk factor--obesity, and around 30% have 2. And what were those terrible times of war and depression the result of ?

This has been the same message for months. The masks were added to the list after determination that manufacturers would be able to bump up their supply chain to keep up with demand. Same could now be said about toilet paper ! Mitch f 1

If only 1% were high risk and the numbers were the same as now the risk would appear much higher? 23 minutes ago, Johnsfolly said: The masks were added to the list after determination that they would keep people from spitting on their hands ... if the social distance is great enough the germ carrying mucus will fall to earth through the force of gravity, maybe?
