I thought that was only when I was fishing it?

It ain't the rivers fault.  You get drunk BEFORE you fish.  If you'd fish sober you'd do better. 😅

from BSSP website:

  • Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on beaches, parking areas and off-road-vehicle areas in all state parks and historic sites.

You have it flown in to the picnic table via drone?   That's a service I'd like to have in my contacts list.

Might explain why we never got bothered.  Usually a cold one with lunch.

Oh man!   We were at the white last year taking the boat up to the dam in October.  My buddy comes out and says “Is it too early to start drinking crown?”   He caught one rainbow while the rest of us smoked em.  He had a hangover by 4 when we headed back to start cooking and us finally having a beer.   He passed out after dinner.  Not sure why anyone would waste a day fishing to drink.

Last trip out to Idaho for work, a buddy  and I snuck out for a half day to the caribou national forest to fish the blackfoot.

Saw an agent pull in next to our vehicle as I headed up to retie my leader.

He asked me to stop and was very standoffish, hand on his closed holster...

No hi or hello and immediately asked to see my license and to tell my buddy to get out  and over to him now.

I tried to be polite,  but he was being pretty aholish until he saw my out of state license and that I was from MO, then everything changed.

After we told him we were working at the mine and just squeezing in some fishing he turned a full 180 and was nice as could be and even told us a few spots to try and chit chatted with us for a bit.

Turns out our rental truck had California tags and that's gonna catch ya some crap in Idaho!  A couple of our mining guys said were lucky he didn't start shooting lol and that if you're running Cali plates the police and wardens in small town Idaho are going to target you.

Outside of that I've never had an issue in MO or been checked in any other state.

Taney county Sherriff's have stopped to talk with me a few times at Taney during the night hours, all have been pretty cool,  one even told me they're just making the rounds looking for dopers, and to call if I ever need or see anything.

I've heard no bananas in the boat but never heard of on the dash... I do eat allot of bananas while fishing... do I need to worry?

It’s a sign to other gay guys that you’re “interested”.   Apparently the parking lot at the dam was a popular meeting place for banana lovers back in the day.  Cops told me about it when getting ready to fish one night.  20 years ago maybe??
