No the monkey didn’t move.  But my wife has some family heirloom porcelain doll and it’s freaky little doll eyes follow you.   I put a sock on it’s head year’s ago and she hasn’t noticed yet😁

We have a small plastic doll that we call the creepy doll. We will hide it around the house. Usually in a spot where she will stare at you. Once you find it then you get to hide her.

Who knows where she will end up. Once she was taped to the lid of the toilet and I laughed very loudly when I "found" her.

Note to self.  Don’t go to @Johnsfollyhouse.

No those plastic dolls don’t bother me. The Victorian age ones that look like cherubs freak me out.  😬

I would take a picture of it at home but I don’t want too.

Now that I think about it maybe it’s rooted in my youth from being an alter boy and being around those hideous things as a kid.  @fishinwrenchwhat do you think?

I think that maybe you got caught playing with dolls and it threatened your masculinity, so to avoid further embarrassment you now pretend to be scared of them.

Your masculinity is intact though, because in truth you were only undressing it to see if it had a kooch, and nipples.

What a disappointment, hu? Not even a belly button or a butt hole!   🙄

What about the eyes though?

A friend of our inherited some items from her grandmother. One was a picture of Jesus that "looks" at you where ever you are in the room. Our friend was creeped out by it as a kid and not sure why she kept it now.

Ahh, well then it's likely bona-fide and reasonable,  unlike my irrational childhood carryovers.  😅

I mean be honest.....Do you think the f#(/ing monkey REALLY moved?

Knowing my mom, it was probably a Benadryl hallucination.

I haven't been on the site in a week or so.  I'm in San Diego welcoming a new grandson.  Saw this thread about "winter safety" so I thought I'd give it a look.  A few posts about safety, but 5 pages of posts about monkeys, dolls, and squirrels.  Fishing must be really bad right now!😁

Congrats on the new grandson.

There is almost nothing about fishing anymore.  I guess Face Book has taken that over.
