I had sensitivity training many years ago. It was a government program right out of high school. I think it was called USMC. 😁

I think a refresher class might be of benefit. 😢

I run mine on forward. You can still see everything

Do those transducers have a calibration mode of some kind? It seems it would be cool to have an auto leveling feature built into the software to adjust for a bad shaft angle.

Anyone want to throw out their thoughts on 106sv vs 126sv for using livescope up front. Can I get by with 10 or is it worth it to buck up the extra cash for 12 if only using 1 unit at the troller.  Thanks

I have the 12 inch on the bow and the 10 inch on the console.  I did it this way as I like to at times have up to 4 views on the screen and therefore the bigger the screen the better.  One of these view is often the Livescope.  It is interesting to compare the 2D/down image to the Livescope and it it always good to have the chart visible.  The 106 and 126 can be configured to any combination  of 2D, down image, side image, chart, and Livescope.  I mounted the 12 inch into the bow which has presented some what of an issue for me.  The Livescope unlike the other views seems to require gain, down range, and TVG adjustment at times even though these settings can be put on auto, which can difficult for an old man like me to bend down.  Something to consider.  The fix for me is pretty simple - put the graph on some kind of pedestal.  Hope this helps.

PS if you have the new Garmin troller, you can change the views with the troller remote.

I have $2100 in mine (graph and black box).  9 inch screen.  You decide biased on your wallet.  But I wouldn't buy one if I were you.  They are way too expensive. I hear you need to spend $10,000 to get one that is usable anyway.  🤣

I'm getting old or am old? Not sure where 63 is in that window? Half blind, impatient, I hear voices, and a nine inch screen looks good to me... Just saying😏

Well I'm 62, and have not yet heard any voices or have gone half-blind, is that going to happen soon?  😄

Here is my setup

Bill, any concern with those graphs coming loose from the holder in really rough water?  When I first looked at these it seemed that the release was a bit easy to pop loose.

No, and have not heard of any coming loose. I was glad to get the new trolling motor updates and the new locking system put on it as I had heard of several bouncing out of the cradle if it wasn't strapped down

I just love the way the graphs can be removed for safe keeping during travel or storage without unscrewing anything and just the snap on, off feature.
