Guessing two like he recommends. trythisonemv 1 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" Guessing two like he recommends. This is 4 articulation points. I made the eyes as well . I fashioned it after the barely legal fly but made it with two extra joints for real wiggle. I love barely legal and t and a. The head is laser dub with Crystal flash mixed in. Johnsfolly, BilletHead and nomolites 3

snagged in outlet 3 Posted February 15, 2021 Posted February 15, 2021 This year I'm going to start fly fishing for smallies. I've had my boat 3 years so it's time to start marauding them with a fly rod. This fly looks perfect for that.. BilletHead 1
fishinwrench Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 I went Gamechanger crazy for awhile. They sure look cool, but I still get better (more frequent) bites on Bulkhead style streamers. tangledup, trythisonemv, FishnDave and 1 other 4
FishnDave Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 I haven't tried the bulkhead streamers yet, but did tie a couple. Gamechangers in all types and colors and sizes have worked extremely well for Largemouth Bass. Like this Feather GameChanger: It's caught a bunch of nice bass for me, up to 21.5" (the one on the right is that fish...damaged jaw, obviously it had been caught and mistreated before): Here's a moptail Gamechanger...pretty good action: It caught this 18.5" Smallmouth in Iowa: tangledup, Johnsfolly, fishinwrench and 2 others 5
tjm Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Tying those things is too much like self abuse, I'll stay with simple stuff, I think. They are pretty to look at, though.

But like Wrench I have flies I would rather fish. I don't know if they are better or I just have more confidence in them. I think the most productive fly is the one you like to fish. tjm and FishnDave 2
tjm Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 A seaducer is a simple and quick big fly, a gurgler is one I like to fish and not too complex, either one kinda taxes my attention span.
