Wasn't it an FLW event. Most of the "pro" angler were local or regional.  Also I couldn't find day 2 results.

The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check

It was the Phoenix Bass Fishing League series also know like quill said as the BFL to us minions around here.  It looks to be a 5 tournament series on 3 different lakes and TRL were held back to back bc of the cancelations.  It is sanctioned through the MLF which we also all know bought out FLW.

It’s on the web, both days results Tournament was Phoenix,  Bass Fishing League. It’s a part of MLF along with the Toyota series and Bass Pro Tour.
Two events this last weekend. Saturday was a regular schedule and Sunday was one postponed from Lake O. From earlier this year due to weather.
This tour is a pay event and anyone can enter. No qualifications required just the entry fee.
Congrats to World Wide Watson. Great weekend for him.  He also did well on the last Toyota event on Grand.

Fished my first BFL as a co-angler both days this past weekend. Had a good time and learned a lot of about what you need to do to catch bass out of the back of the boat. Didn’t have much water from my guy on the first day but had a better draw day 2 and at least caught some fish. Nice one that weighted 3.3 was my only keeper and came on a Redfin about 5th cast. Had 4 or 5 that were oh so close on day 2 that could have gotten me a check but they were all just short... I look forward to competing in a few more and seeing how I fair.

One thing that seems wild to me is some of the people fishing these BFL’s. My day 1 boater has fished 23 events since 2015, and weighted 19 fish. This weekend he weighted 1 bass... Day 2 guy has 7 events over the last 2 years and weighted 7 bass total. Neither have ever had a 5 fish limit.... I think I’d go back to fun fishing... and I will if I can’t hang.

Only 1 thing required to have the appearance of a pro angler... money. At least until weigh-in that is.

When I fish bfl's, toyota series, anglers in action or whatever it is. The moment I put my boat on pad at blast off. I know I'm really only competing against roughly 10 percent of the field because the rest are just donating.
