Maybe even some rods and reels I never use any more. Always afraid of selling too cheap but if I donate it then I don't have to work about that. My thinking sometimes is a bit strange. I like to see kids get some good stuff. That’s very much appreciated. I am in the Springfield area almost daily.

Do you guys sell them or donate them to a youth organization? I just keep them around in plain sight so my wife can b*tch about why I don’t use them and how much I paid for them. snagged in outlet 3, cheesemaster, MOPanfisher and 2 others 2 3 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

I have a friend that is part of a high school fishing team that I am sure the kids would like to divide up if possible. I’d be glad to see them go to some kids who could get good from them. DADAKOTA Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 Went through all my tackle and plastics. Amazing how much unused gear I had acquired. I put together 8 large plano boxes full of hard baits. To go with each I added several jigs, buzz baits, spinnerbaits, soft plastics, hooks, sinkers, swivels, etc. Then added some crappie/panfish jigs, beetle spins, sassy shads, hooks, bobbers, and split shot. Also tossed in some trout size trebles, rooster tails, small spoons. Each package went to a youth fisherman that have the fishing addiction. Furthest packages were shipped to Michigan. MOPanfisher Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 The cool part is if I can donate some stuff, I know exactly what I will do. BUY MORE STUFF. 😲 Quillback and cheesemaster 1 1

MOPanfisher Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 I nearly bought a new spinning rod at IAM outdoors Saturday simply because I liked it AND I happened to have a spinning reel just sitting around. Never mind the fact that I have several hat I just don't use much and likely bought for a specific use but decided I like one of my old faithful better. Crappoe jigs and stuff it's potable time I admit I have a fetish for crappie jigs I just buy more and toss them into a duffle bag, like Christmas everytime I want to look for something. Just the other day I found two brand new chain stringers and a new Morakniv. cheesemaster 1
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted April 28, 2021 Posted April 28, 2021 To those of you who donate to kids. I hope you all realize how appreciated you are. I was that "kid". So that being said, let me say THANK YOU for them. They may never get to thank you, as I will never know who helped me. But, I do know there were many more than I'll ever know about. cheesemaster, JestersHK, Mitch f and 2 others 3 2 Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction.
