fishinwrench Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Moss is good for you. Eat it and quit complaining. 😋 MNtransplant and 3DHUSKER 2
laker67 Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 I could answer that but I would have to give up a well guarded fishing secret. If you were to sample the different types of stream moss, then you could determine exactly which moss they prefer. tjm and BilletHead 1 1
jdmidwest Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Maybe they have been caught so many time their teeth have been ripped out. The had to become vegans, hence the flavor. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

Hundreds of dollars worth everytime. Oh and breakfast sausage in bulk too! Breakfast sausage in the smoker is crazy good.
DADAKOTA Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 My first question would be, how much moss have you eaten to know the taste? No doubt hatchery trout are not great table fare. They do taste pretty good off the smoker though. I was ruined eating native brook trout from tiny streams in the UP. Their flesh looked salmon like. Amazingly good fish. laker67, Deadstream and tjm 2 1
