@fishinwrenchsaid that not me.

I'm speaking of Fly rod blanks.   I'm not nearly as picky about spinning/casting rod blanks because I use reels heavy enough to balance them out.   The Triumph and Premier line are fine.....even though they are as Chinese as Kung Fu is.

The Legend Ultra and Legend Elite flyrod blanks WERE awesome....and came with a lifetime warranty.   But if you break one now they replace it with a MFing Chinese POS Imperial that is slow as Christmas, and just as tip heavy as a Fenwick fiberglass rod.

Tomato stake material.

Would you and @tjmfigure out who you two are talking to😂.   He has your verbiage copied into a quote with my name on it.
However I hate slow fly rods except in rare occasions on small trout, in small water with small flies.  But that kind of fishing does nothing for me anymore.   Grew up doing it too much I guess.

I missed that. Got a link to the China rod?

Just go to StCroixrods.com

The Mojo line of rods are 100% Chinese made.

Imperial rods are Chinese blanks that they do something to here in the US so that they can play word games and call them "assembled in the USA".

"Assembled" probably means....They put them in a rod tube.

Those two are your only flyrod choices from St.C. now.

I have no issues with Chinese rods if they are good quality and well designed, but the Mojo and Imperial line of rods are nothing to brag about.  They are a lesser quality rod than the cheap $45.00 BPS/Cabela's fly rods.

When bragging about a LIFETIME WARRANTY a company should at least make it known that ...... Oh, by the way, we will probably stop producing this rod in a few years, or maybe even next month, and NO we will not buy it back from you.

My seven  decades of life experience makes me think all guarantees  and warranties are serviced by the tooth fairy. You just got to believe him  if you believe in a warrantee that doesn't come out of your pocket.

Reminded of the scene from Tommy Boy.

Something about a dump in a box, but with a guarantee on it.

Pretty much🙄

I'm not really uptight about a warranty, but I really love those Legend Ultra and Legend Elite rods, and it hurts to know that if (more like WHEN) I bust one it can't be replaced at ANY cost.

I would be ok if I could just step down to an Avid......but NOOOO, they quit that sumbitch too!

The Imperial and Mojo are the only choice, and they both are slow, tip heavy, overpriced Chinese slugs, that just will not get the job done.   A 60.00 Piscifun 9' 7wt. is better than those pieces of crap by far.

They don't even offer a Mojo 9' 6-7wt. because that bastard would be so freakin' tip heavy it would take a saltwater 10-12wt. reel to balance it out.  The fact that they even decided to pull some $#!t like that is an insult to knowledgeable anglers with any kind of aquired skills.
