Stayed close to home and lucked into some river walleye.  I was catching spots and smallies.  Nothing big but but fun.  Switched colors on my crank bait and I landed 5 walleye.  First two in the same spot then went to similar areas and caught 3 more.  Lost a few after the hooks broke off my crank.  Really fun day.

Wow you wore the hooks off your bait.  That’s some kind of catching.

99 cent bargain bin shallow crankbait.  Had those shiny chrome hooks.  Now it has gamys on it.😁  I've caught more fish on that little 2" cheapo than I have a KVD 1.5.  No lie.  I've scoured the net and can't find anything that looks like it.  It was in a bargain bin near the door at BassPro.  I figured for 99 cents I can snag and loose it just like a $10 bait on the river.

Great day @snagged in outlet 3

Too bad on the cheap hooks putting an end to catching more.. Did you keep any fish?

Only one was 18” which I think is the min.  I thought about it but I only had a 6 pack cooler.  I caught a sauger last year so this was pretty cool to actually get a river Wally.
