It's been years since I went through any and I just recently told my wife we need at least hit up the ones around Springfield when we are tablerock...

Well if you don't mind driving an hour, this one is pretty neat.  It's guided which is good as it keeps the cave from getting trashed.

Wifey and I started to tour a cave one time a few years back.  There was a wait, it was primitive and you had to carry little rechargeable lanterns.  I looked at the herd posted for the next round. "Do you want to get trapped with them and have to survive?"  We walked away.  Not one of them looked tasty and the rounds going off would have rung my bell too many times.

I like Talking rocks. Pretty interesting cave. Lots of steps since it is a vertical cave.

Smallin Civial war cave has a lot of history. Not that impressive in terms of cave features.

The tourist cave has to be Fantastic caverns. More expensive due to coverage of the vehicles. Nice if you don't want to walk the cave. We blew out the bead on one of the cart tires and were stick in the cave for 40 mins until they could get another to pick us up.

Haven't been to the cave in Silver dollar city.

We liked Mystic and Crystal dome caverns in Harrison AR. A bit further south than you might want to travel.

Ditch pickle = largemouth bass = green trout = ol bucketmouth = etc., etc...

All this chit-chat and only one response to my question of where to start fishing.

Do ya'll ever fish the lake, or do you just float around drinking cocktails and ogling the bikini girls?  lol

The wife has decided to join me tomorrow, so there won't be any ogling happening in my boat.

If you suffer from vertigo... don't go into that one.

The first step is a doozy...

Otherwise, it's fairly interesting, as caves go.

I don't fish the lake enough to give much advise. But you shouldn't be surprised how easy we get off topic 🤣

Good luck though.

Sorry, never have fished that lake myself so no advice from me.  Based on the forecast temps, I doubt you'd have any ogle opportunity even without the wife being present.
