Winter Fishing Boot

I have some pursuit stealth muck boots which breath good and keep my feet warm(I always wear wool with them)

I dont like wearing them in the boat so its gotta be really cold to make me wear them.  Honestly in the boat crocs and wool socks keep my feet warm down to near freezing.  None of this is what you were wanting with this post but I felt the need to share lmao

That's what I do now.  My son talked me into trying them and it's great.  Slide on and off and no problem at the boat ramps.  I still keep a pair of shoes in the boat but rarely switch to them.

My mucks are extremely comfortable.  This pair I have had for 4-5 years.

I have a pair of cheepo walmart boots 1.5 sizes too big and wear pretty hefty murino wool socks in them... toasty.
IMHO - In the winter you need room... Tight = low circulation, Tight = Sweaty = Cold.

I used to but not any more.  I pick my fights now...

The warmest boots I have are a pair of those old Sorel pac boots with the inner felt booties.  Feet just never get cold in them.  Walking is not good but they sure are warm.

These are my favorite, quite a bit cheaper than Muck too. 

Neoprene isn't near as tough as rubber, it's pretty easy to snag on a sharp stick and tear, but it's a lot warmer and more comfortable to wear.

I have a pair from last year that's been holding up well, aside from the aforementioned sharp stick incidents, they're only water tight up to the ankles. I wear them just about every day from November-April.

The ultimate cold weather boot is a Sorel Glacier. I think those are what Terrierman was getting at.
