Splashed the boat around 11 and hit a few coves in the KC area....what a beautiful day to be on the water. I was able to locate a few bait balls but I did not see any fish underneath them. Just in case I did throw a Dixie Jet at them.....no love.

So I switched to a jerk bait...as the commercial would say - who is the cheesiest? I woke up the cheesiest coach....Yeah I figured if Cheese could do it so could I....NOPE!!

Well, there is tomorrow!!

Had trouble as well - planned on going early again but it was 22 degrees when I got up so I waited until 9 am- probably a mistake - the places that worked earlier in the week had no shad and no fish - drove around all over the place looking at bigger creeks mostly at the mouths - finally found some bait but only a few fish - caught one nice Spot and missed a couple others but it was time to go home - did enjoy watching the Livescope as fish would trail the bait but then just catch up and turn away - still pretty nice day - 55 deg water near the dam.

Well - you got out, that’s more than I did today. Thanks for the report. What was the water temp up there by KC?

Someone forgot to tell the fish that they are supposed to play along.

No topwater bite? They are still eating  it on  Bull in 52° water . Baby Bass Chug bugs, but that bite is gonna disappear any week now.

One of the best top water bites I ever had on Bull Shoals was on Christmas Eve.  They were still going when we left at dark.

Went out again this afternoon....I tried the Rock Crawler, Spoon, Jerk and Ned. No joy on anything....a couple of taps, I think, I hope anyway.

I must have not been in the right places...plenty of bait balls but no fish near them.

Dang it, C4F, I've told you a dozen times to GET OFF MY FISHIN HOLES! Now scram! Go find your own lifeless, barren, apocalyptic places to fish!
