You seem to know a lot about them, what do you do?

Is that time for for engine replacement or lifters?

He is the guy who turns down your extended warranty claim.....naw sure he is fair.

I got the lifetime warranty with my Ram.  They check my registration when I bring it in for warranty work.  Wheel speed sensor went out.  It would accelerate and activate the trailer brakes because it didn't know how fast that wheel was going.  Crazy!  Replaced that and a worn wheel bearing under the warranty with 156K miles on it.

Usually the blower motor is to blame. Worn and drawing too much amperage, or it has a candy wrapper or something wadded up in the fan.

I pulled the fan motor the first time the be resistor failed and the fan blades did have some light trash in it.   Not enough to hurt it, I don't think, but nevertheless yeah.

When the resistor fails, the ground pin is always discolored (overheated).

I have a 2016 Sierra 2500 Duramax, knock on wood i have had next to no issues and owned it since new.

It now has 160,000 miles.

Keep the fuel system maintained religiously. If you have an issue with the injection pump its going to be a $12k repair.

Jeez. I bet the flat rate guys are loving those jobs. You could pretty much dismantle the whole truck in 36 hours.
