Yeah I'm not bothered by them one iota.  Couldn't care less myself..... but I do get a tiny bit insulted by being told that they only come up on MY device only because I "live that way".

No he wouldn't.   Ads can be filtered using the existing host.  

Not only can they be filtered.....they can be removed altogether.  

Ones pertaining only to freshwater fishing and north American hunting would be my choice, if I was in charge.

Oh no they come up on my device virtually every visit here you are not the only one at all. Does it bother me???? ~~ no!!! But, they are there on a pc or my phone

Since I have no enemies I suppose anyone named Tyrone would be either a friend, or a potential friend. 

Sugarbritches is my pet name for the gal that thinks I'm the coolest guy she'll ever find, part of the time........And the rest of the time she wants me to get hit by a train.   😁  Typical woman, can't make up her mind.

I ain't telling Phil what to do. He has his reasons for the way the site is set-up, and he can do whatever he pleases.

All I request is that myself, and others, not get lambasted for allegedly insulting fine Christian women, or for corrupting 8-10 year olds with our banter on here, when simply visiting the forum listings page is often exposing them to R-rated content to begin with.

Say or think whatever you want, but I haven't looked at any online porn in ages.   My internet history is nearly all fishing/hunting, marine or automotive related.  Maybe a few other random searches, but certainly nothing that pertains, even remotely, to the rediculous stuff that clogs the pages when I visit here (and NO I never click on it). 

Honestly, I don't get those type ads anywhere else but here on OAF.   

I'm not OFFENDED or anything, some of them are actually pretty funny.... but it is kinda odd.   Sugarbritches has looked over at my phone more than once when I was BSing on here and said...."Is Ozark Anglers full of a bunch of old pervs, or what?". 😂  And I just say Hell Yes!  😁

Dad gum it I hate when I just flat out agree with FW.  But on this topic I do, I just ignore the ads and go on.  Anyone who gets upset at what goggle or whomever attaches to your activity stream is playing a losing game.
