Caught yesterday by Dennis Shorb, the same person that picked up the nails and assorted hardware off the H ramp.  Maybe a reward for a good deed?

27", 9.3 lbs.  Mid lake deep water fish.  It has obviously eaten its share of shad.

Good deeds are often times rewarded. Sounds like he is the kind of person that will  catch many more of those kind of fish. Great fish for sure.

Walleyes this size in Arkansas and Missouri, are decade fish. More than once a decade means you are lucky and a good fisherman.

Unless your Buster fishing Bull. He has caught more walleye over 10 pounds than I have caught bass over 6 pounds. 

That is one great fish Dennis. Was it on a jerk bait?

I think at some point you have to just call it skill. When Buster fished bass tournaments, he was among an elite group of guys who could fit comfortably in a small room. Bill Beck, Dave Barker and Tim Sainato come to mind. The common thread is time on the water, hard work, and natural ability.
