AR Rifle?

Just to prevent anyone here from getting any stupid ideas and trying it, it's kinda important to realize that altering the trigger sear mechanism on a semi-auto results in the hammer following the bolt forward, and that means that the firing pin is ALWAYS pushed forward, so it is the FIRING PIN that seats the cartridge into the chamber.     Therefore if the cartridge ever hangs up (even slightly) the premature detonation can cause the casing to blow out the side and hurt you or anyone standing nearby.

Guns designed for full-auto have a hammer delay that allows the bolt to close fully before detonation......AND the chambers are slightly oversized to allow extra clearance, which also means that discharged casings from that gun cannot be reloaded without resizing......and you can only resize & reload them ONCE.

Facts have no place in this topic.

Well ya know.......Phil is concerned about 10 year olds reading these posts.   And discussions like this one could potentially get somebody's kid killed.

Spoken from a knucklehead that when he was 7 years old took a hammer and chisel to a .22 magnum cartridge because he wanted to see what flakes of gunpowder looked like under a microscope.      Yeah, that was ME.  🙄

Oh heck I can't count the number of Shotgun shells, rimfire and centerfire rounds I have disassembled in my life.  It is tough to make one go bang accidentally.  And home brewing a semi to full auto is generally NOT easy nor will fire more than a few times before jamming, just a waste of time with risk of prison  for dessert.  I am picturing a full auto pellet gun though!

This just popped up on YouTube. If the ammo was more accessible I think that this would be a cool little deer shotgun for close ranges. 410 slugs meet the minimum caliber for deer in MO.

I think it's Umerex that has a full auto BB gun in the configuration of an Uzi.

Many years ago we went any did the paintball thing, a guy wanted to join in, sure why not.  He had a full auto paintball gun, we lasted about 30 seconds, turns out he played professionally, as if we even knew that was a thing.  Was still fun.

As Wrench said they have full auto bb guns already.

Hatsan makes a full auto .30 caliber pellet gun.

I chiseled the bullet off, but the powder didn't just pour out......so I started poking and pecking around until it went BOOM and scared the hell out of me.

I got a severe butt chewing from the ol'man, but then after he cooled down, and my ears quit ringing, he schooled me on the inner workings of a rimfire and center-fire cartridge, and he even cut open (dissected) a shotshell at the kitchen table so that my curiosity was settled for good.   😂
