Members catch&release1966 Posted April 15, 2022 Members Posted April 15, 2022 Heading down today, I usually fish the Kings River arm so that is out. Thinking of putting in at Big Indian, anyone know on water conditions on Indian creek area? Thanks in advance.
Bill Babler Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Main lake point 9 to the dam and Campbell Point Marina up the White to point 9 CLEAR. 15' TO 20' plus visibility. dtrs5kprs, DavidB and dpitt 3 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
bfishn Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 With water clarity like that, who needs a Livescope. A $25 Aquascope might be the ticket... dpitt, tho1mas, cheesemaster and 5 others 6 2 I can't dance like I used to.
willyfish Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 I was thinking of buying one of those, they are $100 at tackle warehouse. dtrs5kprs 1

bfishn Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 OK, I posted that in jest, but the principle works. Back when I was prone to such things, I taped some handles and a hood to a 5' stick of 6" round duct. 5' let you be secure in a seat or on your knees. The key was shutting off all external light, hence the hood. Used it to retrieve a rod once, saw some fish, it works. Then again, so do oars... dtrs5kprs 1 I can't dance like I used to.
Bassin4fun Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 I was around Cambpell Point yesterday and both Campbell Point and Big Indian today. Water clarity was easily 6ft or more but does have some stain to it. There was quite a bit of wind and rain so I am not sure how far visibility beyond 6ft. Water temp yesterday was 56-57 and today was 54-56. magicwormman and dtrs5kprs 2

Had to laugh, was fast forwarding through MLF earlier, and the tease for next week shows Jeff Sprague using one on smallmouth. Tune in, lol. magicwormman and bfishn 2
