Dutch Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 We’ve been getting about an inch a day but in the last 10 hours we have received 3.5” of rain. So I guessing that James will be flooding. I checked USGS for Stockton. It has come up 2 feet since midnight. dtrs5kprs and dpitt 2

I gotta confess that I tried a different technique this year and it kinda worked I guess. I booked this week and next week back to back with no intentions of actually coming down the first week. Figured not even I could screw up two full weeks in a row. Well, you see the result. Forty days and forty nights type stuff this week and now 90's next week. Not sure if I picked the right week though as my old posterior don't much like heat that much better than cold anymore. More of a Goldilocks kinda guy now. Regardless, headed y'all's way in about 24 hours if the lake doesn't come to us first. "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." Quillback Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 Corps has opened the flood gates on Beaver further so that now there are 43,000 CFS coming through. Kings is at 20,000 CFS and still rising. James is at 12,000 CFS and rising. Looks to be around 14,500 CFS leaving the lake, so there's a lot of water coming in. Terrierman, cheesemaster, magicwormman and 3 others 3 3
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 5, 2022 Root Admin Posted May 5, 2022 They should go to 20,000 at TR as soon as Taney drops out. They can't release more because the lower lake is flooded. Then it's 20k for quite a while. I think TR can handle the water. Hope so. But what's next? More rain? We are pulling some boats... just in case. Quillback, dpitt, magicwormman and 2 others 5

vernon Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 I know I joke around all the time about this weather stuff but I seriously hope everything and more importantly everybody is OK down there and there's not any serious damage as a result. That's an awful lot of water. mixermarkb, magicwormman, Quillback and 2 others 5 "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups."
