SplitG2 Posted July 5, 2022 Posted July 5, 2022 Been fishing the last few mornings. Finding decent quantity of good sized fish with a 3/4oz chrome Dixie jet spoon on the main lake. The majority of the spotted bass were good keepers. Caught one really good largemouth and couple of good white bass. There are some surfacing but I haven’t caught one on top yet and they appear to smaller fish. Will post pics shorty. gurzik and SupremeJCK 2

SplitG2 Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 Went again yesterday morning. The bridge and near deep docks. Caught a few but there was a lot more bait which made it a harder to compete, so I went looking for a deep crank bite and drug a swinging jig around some other places with no luck. Also spent some time with a larger glide bait in the last of the morning shade with not even a follow. I didn’t catch a fish on anything but the spoon. One brother in law caught one on spook and the other on a drop shot. Also saw a couple of guys doing well trolling crank baits and watched them catch a really nice large mouth that I think I heard them say went over 6lbs. They were excited, took some pics and let it go. Quillback and top_dollar 2
snagged in outlet 3 Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Better enjoy the bridge bite while you can. They are scheduled to start driving trestle pile in October.
SplitG2 Posted July 7, 2022 Author Posted July 7, 2022 It’s a good time to be on Taney or in a tree anyway! snagged in outlet 3 1
Quillback Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Crossed the KC bridge about 1:30 yesterday afternoon, lots of boats on the move. With the temp nearing 100 and the water must be in the high 80's at least, it does not look fun to me. grizwilson 1
rps Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Time for the white War Eagle spoon under docks over deep water and on outside bend channel edges and points parallel to the channel. m&m 1
