Yes. And I'm going to miss them.  I'm using 12 + pounds of sugar a week (well over 130 lbs so far this year) and have 16 48 ounce feeders up which they now empty in 6 days.  A lot of work but well worth it.

            Same here and that is the part we will not miss. We buy sugar by the 25-pound bags. Worth it.

I'm afraid that I can't share y'all's love of hummingbirds 🙄

There's something about working on a running outboard, hooked up to a water hose, that amplifies their curiosity.   It's really hard to concentrate on anything when there is a flying needle hovering 3" from your eyeball.

Our numbers have been the negative the past week. We were seeing 20 or so at a time, and yesterday morning i only seen 4 out on feeders.  Love those little birds. 
 

We have had a cool experience the past 2 years tho. The hummingbird moths have been active in the flowers below the feeders.

You'll soon be shooting Doves, then Teal, then Mallards and Gadwalls and Canada Geese.  Can you imagine how many hummingbird breasts and legs - remember - waste not, want not - it would take to have a nice hummingbird stir fry?

Probably like shooting skeet with brown bats like we did as a kid.  They can duck a shot load.
