Kinda makes you wonder why it took so long to get caught if the guy had been weighing 20" walleyes that weighed 5lbs a piece. Those were big weights.

Guess it's safe to say that guy should start looking into other careers.

Makes me wonder how they went home that afternoon and told the wives, kids, sponsors and friends that they were going to be front page news on Monday.  CNN led with the story on the net, the videos of the guy just standing there.... was he watching his life go down the stool or what?

I'm really surprised that no one beat their arses at the weigh in. Saw several that looked like they wanted to. Shouldn't surprise anyone though since it has been happening ever since money was involved and probably still will after we die.

I guess money and fame over ride values and morals.  Greed over pride.  Why compete if you have to cheat to win?  Wonder how many derbies they have won by cheating.  Put them in jail and ban them from fishing/hunting for life.

Anytime there is money or primitive chest thumping involved there will be cheating. It will never stop. It's a me, me, me, I, I, I world.

Wired2fish has an article that includes a video showing the full weigh in, someone could be heard contesting the winners' fish.  The announcer instantly and in full view accepted the contested request,  and it was on.   9:39 is the time it starts with the cheaters' weigh in.
