Man, I can’t imagine how hard it is to keep grinding on your recovery. Lots of maximal effort to see slow gains, but remember that you will walk again, you will fish again, and you are still there for your family. It could very easily have been so much worse.

To continue the sentiments @Daryk Campbell Sr keep pushing on the mend buddy. There is plenty of time to get back to fishing. And if you you get your old seat back in @gotmuddy boat you'll likely get to help push off from the gravel bars😅. So you'll need to back in peak condition.

Daryk has been known to jump in the water too, so he'll need those legs to help him tread water.   So as John says, keep up on the work and you'll be back out there fishing before you know it.

Still have room for one more?  I think I can make it.  I no longer have a boat.  Any room for a non-boater?  This all assumes I can meet up with Ham at some point.  He still has my rods and ZigJigs that he so kindly picked up from my house when I sold it and was still in Vietnam.  Or he could pass them along to someone local that would be there.
