Congrats!  Lovely couple.

My son from Boston decided to book some cheap flights ($99) from BOS to KCI that week (bringing the kids) so I guess I'm out unless I bring Caleb over for a day's fishing.  Blake I think is out too but I need to let him do his own talking.  He said he may be fishing with someone in a tournament Saturday.

I'm a little slow but still want to congratulate Eric and his lovely Bride.

And dare him to bring her to Jigfest with him.  That's her only hope for learning the truth about him.

well thank you Rick and everyone else for the congrats!.
I asked Christie already and she said she'd stop in with me and meet everyone...

Good deal Eric, honestly I couldn't be happier for you.  Looking forward to seeing you again and meeting Christie!

edit:  I wish I could share the look I just got from Lovey when I asked her if she wanted to go too.

I was on the fence about knowing what my condition would be and promised to let you all know if I could make it. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend this year. I greatly appreciate every offer of support and idea to help me out. I am still not on 2 feet, I get my permanent cast off tomorrow, but will be non weight bearing for an additional 2 weeks on the left foot. Doesn't leave much time to learn to walk. I have a really tough time standing for 1 minute on my right with assistance.

Enough down talk. Eric, congrats. Somebody needs to ride with Cody this year, to keep my seat warm. I plan to claim it back next year though. (WEAR WADERS, You will thank me later.)

But the upside to this is you are healing every day.  We're still all pulling for you.
