I like Fireline. Found it has a little more memory that lessens wind knots and looping around the rod tip. Plus it's easier to tie with.

Lighter is not always better. I have some 10lb Power Pro that is the absolute worst about snagging in screws and rivets, or knotting around the rod tip.

I had fun fooling the frogs with a small top water bait. Casting just past them and slowly just spitting water with the lure. I guess they thought it was a dragon fly or bug. They would explode on top of it

I was fishing a frog at a pond near my house a few years ago and caught a bullfrog.

Thought the same thing.

AGFC had aTV show, it kind of comes and goes, but one show I watched a few years ago they were literally fishing for frogs.

Bullfrogs are a problem at fish farms and they have to control their numbers, so on this show, they rigged up a pickup truck with a board hanging off the side like a diving board.  They would slowly drive down the berms around the fish ponds and there'd be a guy sitting on the end of the board and he would be hanging just about over the bank.  He'd see a frog and dangle a fly over it using a fly rod and those frogs would fall for it and end up as frog legs.

Use to fish a small town lake in the Northwest Missouri area, late 70's-early 80's. Was full of Lilie Pads in some areas and Big Bull Frogs. We would cast our snag free soft poppers over the pads and BOOM!!!!!!!!!. My buddy and I could get our limit of Big Big ONEs in about 2 hours several times. This particular lake also had some enormous Bluegills in it also. Along with good crappie too.

I've followed this channel for a good while. Even have a couple cans of his seasoning.

He posted a video that uses a hair jig to catch frogs.  Pretty fun looking.
