Dutch Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 I didn’t know he was connected with Ranger. What’s Mike’s connection to Ranger? When I knew him he was our Champion field rep. I thought he just left the business and turned pro.

I see alot of used boats, and there's something that almost everyone does, and it's a big No-No ! Do NOT use the steering wheel to help your fatass get in & out of the driver's seat !!!! Even the best built bass boats do not have steering helms and consoles designed for that angle of stress. cheesemaster and grizwilson 1 1
Quillback Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Man, if you need to tilt the wheel and then latch onto to it to get out of the seat, might be time to start a diet and exercise program. grizwilson and Terrierman 2

Well nearly every single bass boat that comes in here shows signs of it. Tilt helm or not. I was guilty of it myself until I started noticing what it was doing to the helm and console. Almost EVERY single time i get up i notice myself pulling my 203 pounds out of that seat with both hands on the wheel. I do tell myself that i need to stop it, but that thought is long forgotten when i grab a rod. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
