mixermarkb Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 Hey Guys, I was finally able to get back into my house and get some clothes, and I got a list of the the gear that was stolen. The story I was told is that my 16 year old step son traded two combos for a bottle of vodka, and had a big party and everything else disappeared while everyone was drunk, so if you see teens with any of this stuff, let me know, because it is stolen property at worst, and at best it’s property protected by the court in a divorce filing. Here’s what’s out there in the wind, it went missing from South East Missouri, about a month ago as far as I can tell. mixermarkb Posted April 20, 2023 Author Posted April 20, 2023 Of course, if returned to me, no questions asked, I won’t file any charges, for all I know my ex gave this stuff away as party favors. It’s probably in the hands of some otherwise decent teens, who didn’t really know what was going on. dtrs5kprs and nomolites 2
mixermarkb Posted April 20, 2023 Author Posted April 20, 2023 So much for keeping them from being stolen out of the boat storage! Hahahahahahahahahanaha dtrs5kprs 1

At least a few of the kids at the party were on high school fishing teams. I think it’s more likely than not that the gear is just in the hands of kids who aren’t thinking about anything other than a free NRX dtrs5kprs 1

Most HS programs have pretty strict no alcohol, etc, policies. Might be a path to getting some returned. Champ188, Quillback and mixermarkb 3

Bill Babler Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 That kind of gear is hard to move unless it is an almost give away. I bet he still has a portion of it. I’d call law enforcement. dtrs5kprs 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Bill, the sheriff was there with me when I found it was gone, and because it was all listed individually in the property filing as part of the divorce, he basically said that the court will make her pay for it one way or another in the divorce settlement. Honestly, compared to going from putting my 8 year old in bed and laying down with him and getting him to sleep every night and getting him off to school in the morning to not being able to see him for 61 days, the gear is nothing. It’s just another thing to pay lawyers $200 an hour to deal with. dtrs5kprs, Daryk Campbell Sr, top_dollar and 1 other 1 3
