Took this pic of the money pit today at the ramp located on a big lake just to the south of Table Rock.

No other rigs at the ramp, blue skies and blue water.  I saw one other boat today and the brown fish are biting.  Boats and trailers are a pain sometimes for sure, but sure is good to get out there on a fine spring day.

I saw your White Tundra at Big M a while back - I'm assuming the "money pit" is in tow as opposed to the truck.😁

My neighbor just told me that his 3 year old Nitro pedestal mount just broke and that there is no access to the nuts under the deck.

Hopefully the Yote is a one and done and won't suffer any serious issues for a while.

What in the world?

They had to install it somehow.

On my Champion they were glassed in.  When replaced it was done at a glass shop because they had to be ground out and replacements glassed back in and recarpeted.

Not at all, and since you bought it up, without a doubt the weakest link in the entire operation is most usually the trailer.

Alignment seems to always be the culprit. They just do not have the ability to track properly.

Don’t know where BC. Gets their trailers, but I know of at least 3 others that have had the same or similar problems.  Just eats the tires, I mean 5 to 10 thousand miles.

One of the past guides on TR trailered from Spfg. And his new kitty trailer lasted under 1000 before he blew out a tire. After much and many threats to sue they gave him a new one. It’s been fine.

Prior to the vault system, Ranger trail was famous for worn out tires. Don’t know what happened but they seem fine since Vault.

Good buddies new Phoenix trail last year sluffed all the gator hide.  He took a picture and they sent him a new one.

My Champion trailer used to throw the lug nuts, matter how we tired them. About every 2 weeks they were loose. I hate trailers

Basscat used to make there own trailers, sounds like things have changed.

They still do but the axles and hubs have come from Dexter for a long time. Everything about the trailer except for those items is excellent. They are very well built. In addition, they position the boats on the trailers so that the minimum amount of garage space is required (with a swing tongue). My boat is 20'4" and it fits straight into my garage which has a 20'11" inside depth plus a doghouse I added for the motor. I don't believe there's another 20' boat on the market that I could get in my garage that way.

Zero chance I'm crawling in the rod box on the Ranger to check.

I don't want to know 😂
