Following in the "Great One's" footsteps

Since Rick started a lunker log for me, I'll try to keep it up.  I will note anything newsworthy, including my first Limit Of Lunkers on 10-4-2021, and the one-and-a-half pound Kentucky Bass I caught on 9-30-2019.  1678 is a long way away, but I'll keep plugging away :)

Yes, you do and I needed to for many years. Still have not done it.

That's one thing the tornado didn't take from me 😊

Thankfully!    I love going back through my notes. It's like reliving every single outing, as soon as I start reading them, the details of each day out start flooding my mind.  Priceless 👍

After 2001 I got all "techy" and started keeping my logs on floppy disks.   Complete with pics and links to tournament results.

Now those are gone forever 😢

But wait..... Here's one where @Al Agnew's brother whooped our asses 😁

You couldn’t catch one more?

All you needed was another 6lber.

@fishinwrench Glen, I'm glad you journaled.  It is like reliving the event.  Everytime I listen to the podcast of Rick's big brown I get excited.  Everyone needs to document an event that is truly special in their life--a birth, a wedding, a vacation, a honeymoon.  They deserve to have a life of their own!

I agree! While I’ve never kept detailed fishing or hunting logs, I do keep notes on important events, vacations, milestones, etc.
