Anybody know of a flatbottom trolling motor mount. I want to put a Minnekota evectric steer bow mount on this 18 footer. Or does anyone have a pic if they have done it.

Do you need something other than just plywood screwed into the top rail?  I've modded several aluminum flat and V boats to add foot controlled motors to the bow. You can add additional bracing to the underside if you just do a section in one of the corners.

I was looking into that a few years ago.  It did not have good reviews.  Seems like it would be a good product but people agreed often it had too much flex.

Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me)

There's a better one available for bow mount hand control motors.  I forget the name but I have one in the shop.

Here it is....

I believe the OP is looking to mount a remote steer TM though. (correct me if I'm wrong)

I think it's called an EZ Mount.

😅 Yeah....I edited that video in after sitting here for 30 minutes racking my brain, then finally googled it.

The one I have actually replaced the original TM mount, so it's one-piece.

Here, I dug it out.IMG_20231128_131814056.jpg

I bought one of those on amazon.  Put a stick of pvc through it and screwed on one of those white plastic cutting boards.  I use it as a rudder on the back of my pond prowler.   Keeps it in line with trolling motor on the front.
