That sewage up there has turned all of your cicadas green? FishnDave 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Initially they are all cream colored, with wings that look like a disco globe. Then a day or two after they have emerged they are greenish on their bellies, black on top, with brownish/orange legs and transparent wings. Yep. Once they have been around awhile they are pale greenish/brown and black. No orange hues at all. And coffee colored wings. What color are the ones around your area ? dan hufferd
They were all over Stockton yesterday. I remember the first time I ever saw the little bright colored ones, we were in Branson I think it was at least 15 yrs ago maybe more. Johnsfolly

The last 13+17 year hatch that I recorded was in June 2011. That was when we were fishing those bluegill in my earlier post. dan hufferd
Gavin
Didnt get any cicada action, but hit wild trout creek. It got boring after a half hour. Rainbow trout cannot resist the peach glo ball in cloudy water. Flysmallie and dan hufferd

You'd think that since they waited 17 years to do that....at least ONE OF THEM would act a little more excited. 🙄 Might as well be doing dishes, or folding laundry.
