Members perchking Posted Wednesday at 07:49 PM Members Posted Wednesday at 07:49 PM Went a month ago to the spots ive caught trout and nothing was biting. they were biting at the beginning of fall. The lures ive used and caught trout with are various rooster tails, the aquila, and mepps spinners. I planned on going tomorrow morning as my thanksgiving will be on saturday. I also do have a fly rod with various flies but ive just been really lazy this year with it, might have to bust that out tomorrow.

Go to Lilleys Landing and they’ll sell you the latest hot color. Daryk Campbell Sr, Terrierman, dpitt and 1 other 4
Ryan Miloshewski Posted Wednesday at 08:33 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:33 PM Never too cold for trout. In fact, I like it better. Maybe that's because of the lack of people.. Agree with Pete. Go to Lilley's and get some jigs. You'll catch 'em. dpitt 1 “To those devoid of imagination a blank place on the map is a useless waste; to others, the most valuable part.”--Aldo Leopold

Are you trying to mess with my mind? Just trying to help a brother out. If he’s new he might be using too heavy of line. 3 pound is a good tweener so you don’t need two setups. Sometimes you can get away with 4 pound other times you just won’t get bit until you go to 2. Sooooo. 3 pound. Proof with photos. Foghorn Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago That 3# P-Line handles most trout park fish and I use it and 4# Vanish quite a bit. The biggest brown I ever caught was on 2# P-Line. Pete is right on the money. Terrierman, dpitt, snagged in outlet 3 and 1 other 4
Travis Swift Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Fished 2.5 hours yesterday. Several browns and quality rainbows on jerkbaits. Then busted a jig out and caught 20 in real short order. Jigs and 2 pound test will get you bit on this lake 365 days a year dpitt, Quillback, Daryk Campbell Sr and 1 other 4
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted 15 hours ago Root Admin Posted 15 hours ago Sculpin marabou with an orange head has been the hot color. Black used to be. Fish are funny... how they all change what color they like. Next I predict it will change to white. dpitt, snagged in outlet 3 and Daryk Campbell Sr 3
