Not much to report as I only caught 3 sub-legal bass and a 14" walleye.  The spots that held them a couple of weeks ago are barren of fish.  I know of some people getting them elsewhere on the lake, so they are biting, but not for me today.

That's a hard day for you.

That's the way it goes.   To have a rough day but still report is fully appreciated.

Didn't have time yesterday to tell yet another crazy early morning vehicle incident.

Towing the boat on county road E, a few miles from the launch, it is around 0645, just getting light with heavy fog.  Out of nowhere a pickup truck, with no headlights on, flies by, passing me in a no-passing zone.  The road was going up a little hill so you can't see any oncoming traffic thus the no-passing deal.  If someone had been coming over that hill, it would've been a bad head-on wreck.  And to top it off, once over that little hill there is a straight away where you can pass.

Not to derail this thread, but I do have a short rough day report from Sat. I fished the Shark river inlet in Belmar NJ. I was hoping to catch a lifer winter skate. There was an incoming tide and I could not effectively hold bottom in the main channel even with 6 to 7 oz of weight. My baits ended up closer to the jetty rocks and would get picked clean by small fish. I landed one fish, a small cunner for four hours of fishing and a 6 hour drive. Still you can't catch your targets sitting on the sofa😉.

Yep, a bad day fishing beats a good day sitting in the house watching soap operas.  😀

Heck You must be Hen Pecked. There is no Soap Operas here. Just good ole Rock and Roll and Good Ole Blues Man. I can always find something to do here. If if not I will take a nap.😂
