Apocalypse looming ?

People across this entire area are loosing their minds......2 truckloads of generators being fought over at Menards, 10 vehicles deep at every gas pump, total madness at all the grocery stores.   It's as if nobody has ever lived through a winter here before !   

Have I missed a serious news story, or what the hell is everybody panicking about ?

I was afraid that there had been an update to "The Program" that I hadn't seen yet, and everyone was preparing for an alien invasion. 

A cook at a local restaurant stabbed the dishwasher in the neck yesterday, and killed him, because he thought he was..."Not of this world".  😬 

I mean.....Wow !  🤔 I'm glad that I never ate his cooking !!!

They’ve gone full-on here.  Predicting ICE and snow.   I took them seriously and plugged in the heated bird bath😂

I haven’t seen any here.   I think they purposefully avoided “fly over” country because someone would shoot them down😆.   God bless the Midwest!

My neighbor flies a drone around every once in a while, sure would be fun to shoot it down, but that would create a few problems.

The madness and hoarding started here on Thursday.  Ran into town after leaving farm last nite, called wife to see if she needed anything.  Of course, we needed bread and milk...

Nothing. Shelves were bare.  Propane tanks all gone along with heaters and kerosene.

Picked up a pork roast, taters, and carrots, a 12 pack, and a can of crescent rolls.

I did buy a couple of wireless thermometers yesterday, one for outside and one for the garage.
