jdmidwest Posted Tuesday at 11:08 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:08 AM Mine was tame but the hairs on it irritated my skin when I handled it. It never sunk fangs in me but have been told it was a painful bite. I watched it use them on crickets, pretty good pair. From looks of the pics, mine was male. Never rolled it over to check. Terrierman Posted Tuesday at 06:00 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:00 PM I've seen quite a few tarantulas over the years. They seem to be more common in glade environments. And hey Al, this one's for you. Aggressive things. Quillback, tjm, Daryk Campbell Sr and 1 other 4

I've seen them, a black widow, and scorpions on S-F property. As well as deer, turkey and many species of snakes. Ham Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I like the tarantulas. They are one of the signs of Fall that I look forward to seeing. I would love to see those big centipedes at least once, but I hope I never get bitten by one. FishnDave, Quillback and tjm 3 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future.
