My Xr6 just turned 22. My oldest Garmin has over 4000 miles on it since I put it on and I had the boat and motor 3 years before that. And I don't know how many the previous owner put on

It is... kinda.....but in all reality there's no need for NEW ones.

Out of curiosity.......What prop are you turning with that 175 & Sabre ? 

I took in a 285 Stratos with a 150 Intruder, and it has a 26p Raker on it.    Stratos is a fairly heavy boat and that sounds like way too much prop to me.

I've got a 2006 Yamaha 9.9 on my trout boat.  It's been rejetted.  Ask anybody who's been out with me how it does.  I also had a Yamaha Pro 50 on an 18.5 deep wide jon.  It did me right too.  So there's that, not to disrespect in any way a long running Evinrude.
