Members slabseeker Posted Thursday at 01:14 PM Members Posted Thursday at 01:14 PM So sorry Phil, it is tough. I know exactly what you mean about not knowing if you want to go through that again. We have enjoyed watching him on One Cast & seeing him at the resort for all these years. My wife had commented about how sad it will be when he is gone. Our grand dog would sit in front of our tv & watch him when he was on One Cast. Remember the good times. He is up there chasing otters. nomolites and dpitt 2 If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach him to fish he will be in your spot next time you go.
Ryan Miloshewski Posted Thursday at 01:17 PM Posted Thursday at 01:17 PM Sorry, Phil. He was a great dog and I will miss seeing him. dpitt and Terrierman 2 “To those devoid of imagination a blank place on the map is a useless waste; to others, the most valuable part.”--Aldo Leopold
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted Thursday at 03:02 PM Author Root Admin Posted Thursday at 03:02 PM Pets are truly God's gift to us. I always wondered if Jesus had a dog And I know the Lord delights in His creation and I'm sure that includes dogs... and other pets like CATS. I do like cats. I grew up with one. I still have one of the rescue cats from the last litter. But they aren't the same. When he was young, still a pup, I'd have to keep him in a big pen at night in my son's old bedroom. He'd poop every stinkin' night and have it all over him, the cage and around the cage. In his old age, he lost the ability to control his bowels... so again, we were cleaning up after him on a daily basis. So here's a video, in memory of Jackson and what he did best in his latter life.
