Seen a post on FB, showing some young men from Republic High fishing team reeled this in on the rock this weekend.

Aquarium reject, or a grown up goldfish from the baitshop.  They cruise the banks of Lake O too.  I've run across them several times.  

I just leave them alone, but apparently these boys felt the need to snag one.  Kids will be kids. 😅

Koi.  The faded color, tattered fins, and glazed-over eye makes it look like its been dead awhile?

carp or koi the goldfish doesn't supposed to get over 18" and is also deeper up and down. It does have a dead eye as Dave said.
